Terms of service

These terms apply to all orders placed with Vortex Core PCs (vortexcorepcs.com). By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. WHO CAN ORDER

By placing an order, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this contract, or that you are purchasing with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian, including where a parent or guardian's payment method is being used.

2. ORDERS AND BUILD SLOTS

We build a limited number of PCs at any one time to ensure every build receives proper care, testing, and attention. In rare cases, such as suspected fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to decline or cancel an order. If this happens, you will be refunded in full.

3. PAYMENT

Full payment is required upfront before your build begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For fully bespoke or commissioned builds arranged through our Commission Builds service, a deposit of 30-50% may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due before dispatch. The exact deposit amount will be confirmed with you directly as part of your commission enquiry.

For orders of 3 or more units, a 50% deposit may be required before we begin sourcing parts, with the balance due before dispatch.

We do not currently offer payment in instalments or buy-now-pay-later options.

4. PRICING

We make every effort to ensure pricing on our website is accurate. In the rare case that a genuine pricing error occurs, for example due to a technical fault, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund, rather than being obligated to honour an incorrect price.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Vortex Core PCs name, logo, and all original written content, photography, and branding on this website are our property and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without our permission.

6. LIABILITY

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

We are not liable for damage, malfunction, or loss caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, accidental damage, or use outside of normal operating conditions. This does not affect your rights in relation to genuine faults arising from normal use.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of use. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
